Powder Coating

Powder coating, also known as powder painting, is a surface treatment process that has played a pioneering role in replacing traditional painting. It is one of the most common methods for painting parts. The result is a durable, long-lasting surface that even resists rust.

To achieve the best quality, the surface of the coating must be properly prepared. The part is thoroughly cleaned to remove oil or grease from its surface. This cleaning helps eliminate harmful substances, providing a larger surface area for the powder coating. Once the part is fully coated, it is placed in an oven, where the coating is heated to at least 180°C. As the powder reaches this temperature, it melts. This reaction ensures the rigidity and durability of the coating. During cooling, the surface takes on a gel-like consistency until it reaches room temperature.
